PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING ISOQUAC. BY ACCESSING OR USING ISOQUAC, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE TOOL.

1. Definitions

Website, Web Tool, IsoQuaC:
Refers to all web pages and related services available at https://isoquac.net that provide functionalities for the rapid analysis of isobaric labeled data from quantitative proteomics experiments.

We/Us/Our:
Refers to the developers, maintainers, and legal entities behind IsoQuaC, including DSI, UHasselt and Elixir.

User/You/Your:
Refers to any individual or organization that accesses or uses IsoQuaC.

2. Use of IsoQuaC and Restrictions

2.1 Permitted Use

IsoQuaC is provided for academic, educational, and non-commercial research purposes only. Any use for commercial, diagnostic, clinical, or profit-driven purposes, or in projects involving collaboration with industry partners, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent. If results or data obtained using IsoQuaC are published, proper citation of the tool and associated scholarly publications must be included, as specified on our References page.

2.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Modify, adapt, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of IsoQuaC.
  • Hack, overload, disrupt, or intentionally interfere with the operation or security of the tool.
  • Access or extract the underlying algorithms, source code, or any datasets provided by IsoQuaC.
  • Scrape or systematically download content from IsoQuaC.
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other users or breach their privacy in any manner.

3. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, designs, and related intellectual property available on IsoQuaC are the property of DSI or its designated partners. No portion of the content may be used, reproduced, or distributed without our explicit written permission, except as expressly permitted within these Terms and Conditions.

4. Privacy and Data Handling

4.1 Data Collection and Storage

To enhance the service and support research needs, IsoQuaC may collect and store certain data, including:

  • Timestamp of the submission.
  • Analysis parameters (e.g., selected options, processing choices).
  • The number of quantitative proteomics entries (e.g., proteins or peptides) submitted.

4.2 Result Availability and Temporary Storage

Analysis results will be available for download for a limited period (e.g., 7 days). After this period, data and results may be automatically removed from our servers. All user-provided data and generated results remain private and will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
